Front Load Washers

Front load washers can develop a odor inside the machine over time. The question is why ? There are a couple of reasons. 1) Using to much he detergent. Use less, always use measuring cup that comes what the detergent of your choice. Never pour it into the washing machine dispenser using the measuring increments. You are using to much detergent by these guide lines. Experiment, it is allows better to use to little than to much. 2) When ever your machine is not in use or just after use leave the door open. Keep a small towel folded over the door. After every use take towel and wipe all the residual water off and down inside the rubber door boot or also called the door bellow. When standing in front of your washer with the door open gently pull the bottom center of the boot towards you and wipe away the water that is standing. Also if you look close enough you will see a couple of holes in the door boot that is a drain. Remove any and all foreign debris such as lint. This can cause problems with your machine if it becomes clogged. If you ever noticed a black stain starting to form on your door boot that is mold. It is caused by keeping your door shut and not wiping off the water from the boot. Once the mold as formed their is nothing on this earth that will remove it. Because rubber is porous the mold permeates into the rubber and can not be removed. 3) It is not a bad idea to purchase washing machine cleaning tablets you can find at most stores. A popular brand is Affresh but you can find other brands that do the same job. Use as directed. I hope these tips will be helpful to all that take the time to read them.
