Refrigerator water filters. You don't realize it until you go to replace a water filter how expensive they are. But don't let that deter you from replacing them about every 6 months to a year.If you leave them in over a extended period of time past the replacement date you could be heading for trouble.A clogged filter can cause your ice maker to malfunction. Which in turn may result in you having to call a appliance repair company to service something that doesn't need servicing.

When using your high efficiency washing machine only use the recommended amount of HE laundry detergent that is called for.By doing this you will have accomplished three things,1) you will save money by purchasing less HE detergent, which we all know is very expensive.2) You will help prolong the life of your washing machine because less amounts of detergent residue is left in the machine which in time will ruin expensive parts.3) It will help cut down the chances of strong odors in your machine.
